2017 T of C Eligibility
Entries are available to qualified golfers who: have won an IGA Championship; have won an IGA member club Championship (gross only); Senior Club Champions must have won a separate senior competition; have won an individual competition at an IGA member club that was open to non-club members (gross only); Division winners at the 2016 IGA Tournament of Champions, members of the 2017 Idaho PNGA Cup Team; or 2017 USGA Women’s State “Team Idaho” members; 2017 Junior and Girls’ Junior America’s Cup “Team Idaho” members. Winners of Junior Club Championships are NOT eligible.
Golfers must have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index®. A Handicap Index must be issued either from an IGA District I, II, or III member “golf club” (as defined in the “USGA Handicap System Manual”) which is licensed to use the USGA Handicap SystemTM . Or, for bona fide residents of the State of Idaho, Panhandle District, have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index® issued from a WSGA licensed member “golf club.”
Entries: Form, Fee, Closing Date, Final Field of Players
Each competitor MUST complete an entry application. Golfers are encouraged to file online at the IGA website (www.theiga.org). All entries will be waitlisted (pending) until their eligibility (tournament win) is confirmed.
Entry fee of $200 must be paid by each competitor. Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if the IGA (208-342-4442) is notified before the close of entries. A $25 service fee will be deducted from all refunds. After the close of entries, fee will not be refunded.
$200 Entry fee WITHOUT LODGING includes tournament fee only. All golfers are on their own to make lodging arrangements.
If the club champion’s entry fee is paid by a home club; that fee ($200) must be paid directly to the IGA, not to the golfer. A paper entry MUST accompany all such payments. In addition to that, the player’s home club may cover up to $200 in travel and lodging expenses. The $200 travel and lodging fee may be paid directly to the player, provided it comes from the player’s club (men’s/women’s association or course), AND, the IGA must be notified of such payment at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thus, the home club/course may provide a maximum of $400 for their club champion.
