IGA Names New Executive Director
The Idaho Golf Association has selected Adam McCormick as its new Executive Director. Adam comes to Idaho from the Tennessee Golf Association where he has been the Director of Men’s Competitions.

I look forward to increasing the IGA brand, enhancing the IGA championship experience, and strengthening the relationships of the IGA with players, professionals, and allied organizations. My wife and I are truly excited to begin this next chapter of our lives in Idaho.”
A native of North Carolina, Adam graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Advertising. Prior to his time at the Tennessee Golf Association, Adam worked for the Kansas City Golf Association as Competitions and Programs Manager. He also served as a P.J.Boatwright intern at the Kansas City Golf Association.
Adam will begin his duties at the IGA on January 22, 2018.
The Idaho Golf Association (IGA) is a 501 (C)(7) non-profit organization founded in 1969 with the goal of being an all-encompassing umbrella organization for amateur golf in Idaho. The mission of the IGA is to promote the best interest of amateur golf, by providing course rating and handicapping service to member clubs, conducting championships, providing playing opportunities for members, education, and protecting the spirit of the game. The IGA is comprised of approximately 16,000 members and approximately 90 member clubs.
The IGA is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of twelve men and women who serve three year terms. Operations are administered by four full-time employees and USGA P.J. Boatwright Interns. Sixteen state championships and various USGA qualifiers are conducted each year in addition to over 40 events on the IGA Junior Tour schedule.
